Dear Friends,

As we look back on 2016 and all the changes and challenges that have come with it, I’d like to take a moment to share some of what gives us at Voice of Witness hope for the new year, and for the years to come.

Thanks to you, the VOW Education Program had an incredibly productive year of teaching and learning.

Here’s a small look into what we’ve been able to accomplish:

  • 20,000 students served through site visits, workshops, consultations, trainings, and our free-downloadable curriculum in our 2016 fiscal year
  • The launch of our webinar series, Listen Up
  • The release of our multimedia project and education toolkit Displaced in Colombia, created in partnership with the Magnum Foundation

And as a final gift, I invite you to explore our newest resource: Where Our Stories Intersect: An Educator’s Guide to Starting Conversations about Empathy and Outrospection.

We’re looking forward to an even more prolific 2017, but in order to sustain and grow our education programming, we need your support.

Now more than ever, we hope you’ll help us foster empathy and inquiry among our students by engaging them with the crucial human rights and social justice issues of our time.

I hope you’ll help us make history in 2017 with a gift to our Make History Campaign today.

With respect,

Cliff
