In this lesson, students will practice oral history interviewing skills by conducting an interview with one of their peers about an artifact of personal or cultural significance. Given the opportunity to be both interviewer and narrator, students will be able to reflect on what makes a successful interview experience. Students will explore the following questions:
- What is an artifact?
- How do artifacts tell stories?
