Join VOW’s education team for a special round table discussion on reflection and celebration in the classroom.
This lightly facilitated, informal space is for educators to gather, discuss, build community, share resources, and identify best practices around the following questions:
- How do we support students in celebrating their individual and communal achievements over the course of a school year?
- As educators, what structures and practices help us acknowledge and appreciate the passing of time?
- What is the role of reflection in the classroom, both as educators and as students?
Though they are concepts typically associated with endings, we hope that you’ll join us for a conversation about both the previous year and the possibilities of starting the new school year with reflection and celebration as grounding principles. We encourage you to invite other educators to this VOW community space!
This conversation will be facilitated by VOW’s Erin Vong Limoges (Education Program Director) and Jessica Fagen (Education Specialist) on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 4:00pm PT.
