Brave Stories, Bold Movements

10 years ago, Voice of Witness began its journey as a nonprofit organization, with the vision to bring the crucial oral histories of marginalized communities to audiences nationwide. Since then, VOW has grown into an award-winning, multifaceted organization with a robust education program and an acclaimed book series.

Our “Brave Stories, Bold Movements” fundraising gathering is equal parts proud reflection of our first decade, and a clarion call to uplift the voices of people marginalized by our immigration and justice systems, who have been ignored for far too long.

From those who sought refuge from violence in Central America, to those impacted by solitary confinement, and many more—this is our opportunity to galvanize our community to provide the support needed to amplify these stories.
